The Center for Health Design’s “Hour With An ICON” Master Webinar Series kicked off yesterday with a presentation by Architect and CHD Board Director Emeritus Derek Parker, FAIA, RIBA, EDAC, and his colleagues at Aditazz.
Parker, along with Felicia Cleper-Borkovi, Matt Weinstein, and Agnessa Tordorova talked about the process they went through and the ideas that won them the top prize (with Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch and Perkins+Will NY) in Kaiser Permanente’s Small Hospital, Big Ideas Competition last year. Led by both past and present Center for Health Design board directors, the webinar series provides the chance to learn and interact with premier thought leaders who inspire and accelerate innovation in healthcare architecture and design worldwide and have influenced industry standards for more than two decades.
The next in the series are Wednesday, September 5 and Thursday, September 6 at 11 a.m. Pacific; 1 p.m. Central; and 2 p.m. Eastern.
Wednesday's webinar, "Building the Buildings of the Next Healthcare," will be led by Healthcare Futurist/Author Joe Flower. Thursday's webinar, led by Rosalyn Cama, EDAC, FASID, President of CAMA Inc., explores the application of EBD principles to healthcare interior renovation projects.
