Todd M. Cohen, Director of Special Projects with Montgomery General Hospital at MedStar Health, won The Center for Health Design’s new affiliate member contest at HEALTHCARE DESIGN.11. Todd signed up as an affiliate during the conference and won an iPad case and Bluetooth keyboard.
Upon being asked why he chose to become a CHD affiliate member, Todd replied, “I believe being a CHD Affiliate demonstrates a commitment to adding a degree of rigor, professionalism, and science to the process of designing and allocating spaces for tomorrow’s healthcare encounter. Our varying roles in making the patient encounter more friendly and navigable, is performed more comprehensively by participating in CHD's enlightening programs, networking opportunities, and through collaboration of the healthcare design community.”
Todd is currently helping to design, plan, build, and evaluate new spaces and programming at Montgomery General Hospital, a 45-acre, 175-bed acute care community hospital in the metropolitan Washington DC area.
