The first Built Environment Network meeting was held October 27-29, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA. Sixteen healthcare and design industry representatives gathered to discuss the direction and focus of this new professional network from The Center for Health Design. The group discussed the potential impact of healthcare reform on the future of healthcare facility planning, design and construction between 2011 - 2015. Also addressed was the economic climate in which healthcare facility planning occurs.
